Whenever you have a wallpaper project chances are you are going to have some leftover pieces that are just too beautiful to throw away. So what are some things you can do with these left over pieces? Well I've come up with 10 ideas for what to do with leftover pieces of wallpaper.
1. Drawer Liner
Jazz up the inside of a drawer by measuring and cutting excess wallpaper to fit. If you have pasted wallpaper you could probably just place the piece in the bottom of the drawer. If you have peel and stick you stick the piece into the drawer.
I can see this inside a favorite make up drawer, lingerie drawer, baby's drawer or even the classic junk drawer.
2. Shelf Liner
Whether it's a bookcase shelf, cabinet shelf or free/floating shelf, left over peel and stick wallpaper will not only make a statement but will add to your room's decor.
3. Dress Up the Back of a Bookcase
Why not add some interest to the interior of a bookcase? Adding a beautiful patterned peel & stick wallpaper to the back of a bookcase creates interest not to mention ties the colors and style of your room together.
4. Wallpaper Dresser Drawer Fonts
This is one way to spruce up an old dresser or add your personal style to a new one. Decorate your space by adding a piece of peel and stick wallpaper in your favorite pattern to the drawer fronts. Another way to bring design and pattern into your space.
5. Frame & Use as Wall Art
No matter if a piece of leftover peel & stick wallpaper is large or small, placing in frame or applying to the wall and adding a boarder trim creates beautiful artwork and focal point.
6. Cover a Wall Switch Plate
Covering a switch plate is a great way to bring a little bit of your theme into a space in an unexpected way.
7. Add to the Back of Your Kitchen Cabinets
How about an unexpected surprise when you open your kitchen cabinets? Or having your favorite pattern peeking through your cabinet's glass? This doesn't have to be limited to your kitchen either. Adding to the interior of any cabinet yields a pleasant and visually beautiful surprise!
7. Add to a Lampshade
How about adding a pattern to your space in an unexpected place? Your lampshades are perfect for doing this. Add to the inside or cover the outside.
8. Create a Headboard
Frame pieces in frames or add to the wall in one large piece or in 3 pieces and frame with wood trim to create a statement wall above your bed.
9. Add to Stair Risers
Give your stairs a step up by adding some peel & stick wallpaper to the risers. This not only gives interest but dimension and style to your staircase.
